About us

DEWALT Comparison is an independent site that helps you pick the right DEWALT tool, kit or battery for the work you actually do. It started as a frustration: DEWALT makes thousands of products, sells them under different names in different countries, and retailer pages make it hard to compare like with like.

What we do

• Compare by need, not by hype. Our comparison tool ranks every current product in a category against what you say matters, whether that's power, weight, runtime, durability or price. Here's exactly how the ranking works.
• Cover the whole current range. Our product list includes every product DEWALT currently lists in the United States, the United Kingdom and the European Union. Discontinued products drop out automatically.
• Track prices. Where we have retailer prices, we show the lowest current in-stock offer and use prices to spot tools that are good value for their specs.

Where the data comes from

Product names, categories and specifications come from DEWALT's own regional websites, which we check daily. Prices come from retailers' public product pages, collected by our own price service. Specs and prices can be wrong or out of date, so always confirm on the retailer's site before you buy.

Independence

We're not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by DEWALT or Stanley Black & Decker. DEWALT is a trademark of its owner, and we use the name only to describe the products we compare. Retailers can't pay to change our rankings. See our disclosure for how the site is funded.
