Affiliate links are marked in the page code as sponsored links, and they appear only next to products and prices, never inside our explanations of how a tool performs.

Affiliate links never change rankings

Our rankings come entirely from the model described on How it works: product specifications, the needs you set and current prices. Whether a retailer pays a commission, or how much, is not an input to the model. A product with no affiliate link can, and often will, rank first.

Prices

Prices are collected automatically from retailers' public product pages and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Shipping, taxes and promotions may not be included. Out-of-stock offers are shown but never count as the "best price". Always check the final price on the retailer's site before buying.

Product information

Specifications, names and images of individual products come from DEWALT's regional websites. We convert units and fill a few figures from DEWALT's own product text, but we don't independently test tools unless an article says so.

DEWALT, FLEXVOLT, POWERSTACK, XR, ATOMIC and related names are trademarks of their owner. This site is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by DEWALT or Stanley Black & Decker. We use these names only to identify the products we compare.

AI-generated illustrations

Some decorative images on this site, such as the homepage banner, category pictures and article headers, are generated with AI. They show generic tools to illustrate a topic. They are not photos of specific products, so don't use them to judge what a product looks like. Product pages use DEWALT's own product images.
