DeWalt battery price per Ah: 20V MAX and FLEXVOLT compared

Verdict: price per Ah depends on the pack size and how you buy it, not on the model number. DCB205-2 ($14.90 per Ah, Home Depot) is the cheapest per Ah among the batteries with an authorized price today. Buy batteries in a 2-pack, inside a kit, or as a free promo battery; a single small pack is the worst value.

Price per Ah = price ÷ rated Ah, with a 2-pack counted as twice the rated Ah. Ah come from each product's dewalt.com page. Only authorized dealers are shown. Marketplace sellers are left out because their warranty is not assured.

Read this before trusting the table
- A dash means no authorized price we trust. Some retailers list several pack sizes under one model code, and where one dealer's prices for the same model disagree by more than a quarter we leave that dealer out rather than guess.
- Price per Ah ignores weight. Higher capacity means a heavier pack, and the tool feels it.
